QA/QC Procedure

First, a Standard Job QA document is created with drawings, scope of work etc. and tabs denoting the required documents to be added.

All welding material purchased and delivered with a certificate.

All pipe, fittings, hoses, vessels, valves, boilers etc. purchased and delivered with the corresponding mill test report, CRN#, certificate or Statutory Declaration and have appropriate, associated traceable markings that match the documentation provided.

ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) hold points from Technical Safety BC

Receiving requirements for materials and consumables (when and if they are required)

MTRs-Pipe and Stat. Declaration-fittings.

NDE requirements (x-ray, magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic, die-penetrant, PMI etc.)

Weld mapping (showing welder ID, Heat no’s in system, NDE joints identified)

Pressure testing (calibrated c/w CTRs, gauges and procedures hydro verses air/compressed gas)

Pressure testing report filled out and signed by AI and client rep (exclusion zones if required)

ITP and data report completion with TSBC AI if the QCM cannot attend

I-A-P QCP exhibits and forms

Document transmittal to the QCM for job completion

Lastly, the completed QC package is provided to you for your records and for TSBC registration purposes.
